We are pleased to have secured ISO45001, ISO14001 and ISO9001 again for another year following recent audits.
ISO4500 is a standard for management systems of occupational health and safety with a goal of reducing occupational injuries and diseases whilst also promoting mental and physical well-being.
ISO14001 is a standard for environmental management systems with a goal of reducing organisations’ negative impact on the environment and promoting positive behaviours concerning the environmental practices.
ISO9001 is a standard for quality management systems with a goal of helping organisation meet their customer and stakeholder needs in relation to a product or service.
ISO accreditation is the most recognised management system standard worldwide. We use it to continually monitor, manage and improve the quality, health and safety and environmental impacts of our products and services, and helps us meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders more effectively. It is a powerful business improvement tool, providing the framework and guidance to help consistently meet industry expectations and regulatory requirements.
BRG have well-established systems in place, such as standard operating procedures, that we follow consistently to ensure we aligned to the ISO standards.
We conduct internal audits once a year to ensure that are following the systems we have in place and achieving our commitments. Then once a year an external audit is carried out.
The external auditor has as standardised set of questions and checks they must complete as part of the framework, which we need to demonstrate compliance with. For example, this could be the method of recording complaints. The external auditor will scrutinise a project and find evidence of activities and asses it as “planned vs actual” against the framework.
The elements the auditor needs to scrutinise and find evidence of in order to show compliance varies for each accreditation.
