PURPOSE:
To facilitate the delivering of Data Centre/Healthcare products on site to the high standards expected in a safe and diligent manner. The Site Manager will oversee and champion QA systems, Process Improvement, H&S, and programme monitoring of labour and sub-contractor management throughout the product install and through to commissioning and handover.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shared responsibility for maintaining high standards of housekeeping in and around the facility at all times.
- Ensure H&S standards are maintained at all times – reporting any issues to the Site Manager immediately (H&S course to be organised).
- Monitoring works against programme with the Site Manager.
- Have an awareness of upcoming works.
- Reporting progress of works back to the Site Manager on a continual basis.
- Responsible for ensuring allocated labour is carrying out tasks.
- Attend weekly subcontractor progress meetings.
- Ensure quality of workmanship is maintained to a very high standard at all times.
- Record and report any non-conformances, proactively engage and resolve issues.
- Carry out daily snagging of all works.
- Assist and lead where necessary the rectification of these non-conformances and snagging works.
- Assist when required with installation works.

- Meet regularly with line/senior manager to assess on going and evolving tasks and areas for personal focus/development.

- Suppliers and others impacting on operational performance.
- Customers and clients as required to manage quality and delivery.
- Other support organisations for staff and direct report management.
DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:
- Day to day decisions of how best to manage ongoing tasks and workload to meet personal and business objectives and targets.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Comply with any additional reasonable requirements relevant to the needs of the team and the business.
- Occasional unsociable hours and travel.
